My earliest memory of “the dream”, at the mere age of five, began when my parents pulled into the driveway of our first home. Keys rattling as we walked up to the front door, the excitement I couldn’t contain, discovering every single square inch there was, and eventually crossing over the threshold of my new “big girl” room. Ahh…the core memories it created and the space it continues to live rent free in my head. I still remember every square inch of our first home. The floor plan, the color, the address, and even our home phone number. Yes, we had those back then. But most importantly, the feeling I had while watching my parents celebrate a foundation, four walls and a roof. What I didn’t understand, at that time, was how those seemingly basic components would shape my future self, and become the part of my “why” today. Why I enjoy working with people. Why I enjoy the collaboration of selecting the perfect floor plan, selecting the perfect lot and street, selecting the structural features and how the home will revolve around the owners. With all these selections, the process can feel overwhelming, and because my parents selected the right sales representative, the process was easier and more enjoyable. A builder didn’t just build a house, they built a home. Our sales representative didn’t just sell us a house, they sold us a home. They got to see my first “big girl” room, my first best friend, my first backyard; which led to my first dog, Shasta, and watched me learn to ride my very first bike, in the cul de sac where it all began. I won’t mention my first haircut in that home, but I digress. I could take you down a rabbit hole of what a foundation, four walls, and a roof; seemingly basic components symbolize, but I’d rather show you and guide you into the most important investment you can make for yourself, your lifestyle, and even that 5yr old kid. My “why” is simple; my passion for people, my drive and determination to help create your future home, and the core memories that will live rent free in your head forever.
