I represent individuals and companies in lawsuits and claims for money damages. These disputes arise out of trucking/auto/construction/workplace accidents, product failures, business disputes, trust and estate claims, and nursing home/sheltered care allegations. The claims involve wrongful death or serious bodily injury including traumatic brain injury, paralysis, amputation, broken bones, skin disruptions, infections, and neck/back herniations. I assess a risk early and provide realistic litigation activities and budgets. I have prosecuted numerous cases to jury trial in Northern Illinois and I believe that cases must be driven to a conclusion. It is important that potentials for lawsuit resolution be explored and acted upon throughout a case; absent a reasonable position by my opponent, I will not hesitate to take the case to trial. I am actively involved in bar associations at both the state and county levels. I have maintained positions of leadership in the Illinois State Bar Association (current member, Civil Practice Section Council; past member, Assembly for the 18th Judicial Circuit; and past Chair of the Civil Practice Section Council) and several local bar associations/groups [e.g. current member of Civil Litigation, past elected member of the Board of Directors for the DuPage County Bar Association (DCBA), past President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and past President of the American Inns of Court-DuPage County Chapter]). I have also led ad hoc committees for the DCBA including Diversity and Trial Advocacy.I feel blessed to be in a position to help my clients.
