My volunteering uses my critical thinking and data analysis skills to help solve practical problems, organize data or information, and implement strategy. I am people-oriented and known for my interpersonal approach to working on teams and my influencing skills. I am particularly drawn to environmental science or broader STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) opportunities. I am a PhD statistician with hands-on and executive management experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry focused on clinical trial design, data analysis and results interpretation. I have successfully led several Biostatistics, Statistical Programming and Medical Writing organizations. As a subject matter expert, I have served on protocol review committees and clinical development plan review bodies ensuring that clinical research programs utilized sound trial design and appropriate statistical methodology. I am a recipient of the Johnson Medal, the most prestigious award given for excellence in research and development within Johnson & Johnson, for innovation in design of the REMICADE ATTRACT study in rheumatoid arthritis. I have led a cross-disciplinary R&D Scientific Awards committee where I role-modeled inclusive dialogue and fact-based decision-making for the awards calibration & selection process.From an operations perspective, I have led optimization initiatives, developed and managed budgets, and evaluated employee performance. I have designed and implemented several global organizational restructurings involving multiple functions and spanning from 100 to 700+ employees resulting in more efficient and integrated departments.I am collaborative, professional and self-motivated.
