I am responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with patient organisations, global commercial companies, and healthcare professionals in the neuromuscular field. This includes facilitating key discussions and working collaboratively to advance the treatment, diagnosis and care for neuromuscular patients globally. Previously I was a Business Development Manager for the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) where my primary focus alongside managing key accounts was leading the Patient Engagement in Clinical Development Service. I also managed the INCLUDE project, a four-year project aiming to achieve better healthcare through more inclusive research.

I provided a co-ordination role between the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy programme at the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre and within TREAT-NMD. This required an overarching view on international activities and close liaison with funders and key stakeholders to ensure the needs and input of the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy community were coordinated and addressed.
