I am a strong leader of departmental and cross-functional teams and move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.In my career, I have worked as a marketing director in roofing, small business marketing consultant, co-owned a marketing agency, and am a published author. I was writing the first edition of The Mobile Marketing Handbook when the iPhone launched. It was one of the first books about mobile marketing, went into a second edition and launched my mobile marketing consulting business.Fun fact: I got an early start in sales and marketing when, as a kid, I sold personalized Christmas cards and earned the top prize - a TV. Work isn't everything. I am a fifth-generation Colorado native, an avid reader, love gardening, am a huge Styx fan, enjoy kickboxing for exercise and typically walk about 5 miles a day. In 2021, I accomplished my goal of walking 2021 miles.
