I have a wealth of experience in the area of Student Admissions and Recruitment having begun my career at the age of 10, receiving a "Proud Of" certificate from my school head teacher in recognition of an excellent tour given to an external visitor. I strongly believe in the transformative power of education and I was delighted to find, as a Student Ambassador during my undergraduate days, that enabling people to access education could be a genuine career.Having worked in University Governance and Widening Participation, I excel in finding solutions to work based challenges that factor in perspectives of all stakeholders including academic colleagues, and students and applicants. I particularly enjoy process review and change management, applying production line improvement techniques to a service based environment to keep our services effective and efficient.I am always happy to talk about admissions and education more broadly, whether as a speaker at a conference or a member of a group or network.
