- Assist in the look and production of CTV Morning Show- Producing editorial line-up- Taking Morning show and live events to air- Preparing for and producing live and live to tape segments- Initiating ideas for stories and coverage- Monitoring feeds and servers for content- Writing news scripts, intros and all show elements- Preparing and supervising graphic elements- Vetting reporter and web scripts when required- Working with News Director, Morning Live Producer, and on-air talent in preparation for all news programs, live special events, remotes, elections- Contribute to the station’s ongoing diversity initiatives, and actively reflect the diversity of the community in daily news coverage- Represent CTV in the community as required

-Help in developing programming through beginning research.-Locating and interviewing possible subjects-Fact checkers and brief writer for onscreen presenters- Identify location requirements, and assess locations for suitability and cost- Identify and select suitable sources for archive footage, still pictures or audio materials, within time and cost limits-Prepare Packages (one sheets, DVD's, posters) of each program for festivals-arrange meetings with potential distributors -arrange flights and accommodations on locations
