Serve as the main liaison and point of communication for six contract manufacturers and the centralized supply chain organization. Deliver strategic guidance on sourcing, logistics, capacity, cost, and risk to cross-functional team leaders. Develop strategic capacity plans to identify capacity risks and select secondary co-mans. Negotiate co-man contracts, including pricing, production capacity guarantees, contract renewals, continuous improvements, and intellectual property. Identify, research, and select new co-mans as potential partners for key items. Establish and deploy a cross-functional business continuity team to address product risks due to planned and unforeseen events.

Contributes to the bottom line by procuring finished goods, materials and services on favorable terms. Leads strategic and transactional duties such as preparation and or review of purchase specifications, consequent public advertising and/or solicitations for proposals, analysis of vendor responses in accord with both specifications sought and with law. ANI’s primary interface with strategic vendors and as such has a significant responsibility to the internal departments.

Led Operations Customer Service, Warehouse and Transportation, and Project Management Office (PMO) with three direct reports and five total team members. Managed a $35M budget for North American transportation operations, consistently meeting budget goals. Oversaw 423K sq. ft. of warehouse space with three production lines and storage space for finished goods. Negotiated contracts with transportation carriers and warehouse management companies. Established best practices and SOPs for the PMO and coordinated with leadership in sales, marketing, R&D, and operations to provide updates on project progress.

Directed supply chain planning, forecasting, and SKU-level process management. Trained account managers on completing month-end close processes. Facilitated sales and operating plan meetings to discuss product pipeline and forecasts.

Manage the Customer Sales Support/Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) team responsible for EDI orders across North American and international accounts such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, and Publix. Directed transportation processes for two distribution centers and collaborated on forecasting, process improvement, workload management, internal communications, and prioritization to consistently meet monthly goals. Partnered cross-functionally to develop and implement a strategy to launch a new frozen entrée line.
