Our world changes every day—but some things remain eternal. Hard work pays off. Helping others feels good. If you want to grow, learn. I grew up in a household that taught me these truths, and they have never let me down. My dad, Tom Bartlett, started Aurora Fastprint in July, 1979. My dad worked hard growing this small business, and showed me how much serving the community matters. Although I grew up in the family business, I left for a while and worked in the corporate world. I also worked for another entrepreneur, and both gave me insight beyond the family business that I knew so well. Seeing someone else build something from nothing like my dad helped me appreciate even more what he had created—as well as the flexibility and variety it offered. I now lead the company with the same values my parents taught me, as well as the rich appreciation of my staff and clients. Those values reach beyond the walls of Aurora Fastprint, too. I believe in giving back and being involved in the community, which is why I am engaged in several organizations and charities that strive to make a positive impact in the world. Printing is in my blood. But my real passion is helping customers grow and succeed with successful marketing plans, and that happens through hard work and dedication—to both my customers and my staff. That work ethic results in frequent customer referrals—something that I work hard for and see as a measure of a job well done. Aurora Fastprint isn’t just a print shop. It’s a place where ideas and dreams become real.
