I am partner and chief specialist in BoostPLM. We provide consultancy within PLM across the whole value chain from design in engineering into manufacturing/construction/service. These processes typically spans across multiple systems and I have expert detailled knowledge on how to integrate these systems in a robust way to avoid many manual data entry points and poor data quality.It really drives me to make all the details hang together in and across the systems and provide all the specifications as architect to make this happen.I have the last years been focused very much on ensuring the digital thread from engineering systems such as Windchill and into ERP systems, such as SAP. This has ensured that a couple of our big customers today have:• A robust material API from engineering into ERP also including UNSPSC classification• A comprehensive document API with all metadata and native files also ensuring PDF conversion• A BOM API fully controlled by ECO's to ensure correct phase-in and phase-out dates in ERP• A ECO API to ensure status and validity date is in sync across systems which is keyMy interface knowledge spans across various technologies such as REST, SOAP, Proxy, SAP Gateway, .Net connector and SAP PI/PO.Besides above interfaces I have also supported our customers with:• Comprehensive workflows to support and automate the material enrichment workflow including purchasing info records, source lists, routing, costing and price conditions with full error handling and deadline monitoring which is key to make this robust and efficient.• Detailled data checks on the gates in the ECO process to ensure quality of data before ECO gate is passed and data starts to have consequences in the execution world in ERP.I am eager to push the boundaries of my knowledge, so when working on the edge of my knowledge I utilize my basic engineering ability to investigate and analyse the system's detailed standard functionality to quickly identify the pain-point areas where the systems might not match the business process requirements.LinkedIn Connection Policy: I connect only with people I know or with whom I share mutual interests.
