I am a Certified Payroll Professional with over 10 years payroll experience and a proven track record of managing others. I graduated magna cum laude from Kennesaw State University in May of 2004 with my BBA and a focus in Management.Currently, I am an Implementation Manager at Proliant, Inc. After joining the team as an Implementation Specialist, I worked diligently for over a year and a half learning the service bureau side of payroll before being promoted to Manager. Now I manage a remote staff of 5-10 employees while also still implementing new clients. As a Manager, I enjoy getting in the trenches with my team and helping with the day to day grind. Having the ability to also still implement allows me to stay in touch with what my employees face and allows me to keep my Project Management skills sharp.Previously I worked at Thompson Technologies where I began as the Administrative Assistant and persistently progressed to Manager, Finance & Payroll. I am grateful to have launched my career in payroll at Thompson, a company which allowed me to grow as a professional and as a person. In my tenure at Thompson, I went from answering phones and reformatting resumes to managing office supplies to taking on AP and responding to the many changing needs of our clients with AR to managing the entire payroll process.Currently I am a member of both the national APA and the local APA Atlanta Chapter.
