Direct financial operations of nonprofit charter school network in partnership with CFO. Manage network-wide accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense accounting and payroll. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; communicate organization's financial position to stakeholders: network and school leadership teams, boards of directors, school district leaders, DESE and institutional funders. Co-lead organizational efforts towards diversity, equity and inclusion and social emotional learning.

Oversee and manage all aspects of UP Education Network's accounting systems and practices at the administrative office, as well as five network schools with budgets ranging $6-12 million.

Designed, implemented and maintained internal financial systems for a rapidly growing non-profit in collaboration with Executive Director.

Oversaw all aspects of MetroLacrosse's sport and youth development programs, serving approximately 700 youth year-round in high quality programming within Boston's urban neighborhoods. Collaborated and coordinated with Executive Director to share management and oversight of the organization, including its people, programs, internal operations and governance. Lead all aspects of annual audit and ensured compliance with all financial auditing standards.

A small, family owned company, Northeast Electrical & Mechanical Services gave me a unique opportunity to oversee many facets of the business. I was not only responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the company but was also a driving force in creating and implementing a company handbook, researching and updating the employee benefits package, hiring and training for all internal staff, developing and implementing new strategies for contracting and purchasing agreements and overseeing the company’s strategic plan for long term growth.

At Consolidated Brick my primary responsibilities included but were not limited to managing price negotiation and procurement of masonry materials for commercial construction projects, coordinating production and delivery schedules between manufacturer and job site and supervising the customer service team to deliver quality service through effective training and leadership. In addition I played a vital role in collaborating with senior management and the sales team to create and implement a new cost tracking program to help stabilize expenditures and in turn increase profit margins.
