I am a surveyor with 30+ years experience working offshore in the oil sand gas sector. This work has involved most aspects of hydrographic surveying but with an emphasis on deep water EPIC contracts. As well as closer to home in Europe, I have worked in diverse locations from US, Middle East, Asia and Africa where having a culturally sensitive attitude is an advantage. I have a strong computational background and therefore have a particular interest in Metrology and large LBL array installations and adjustments. I am an enthusiast of Machine Learning, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the offshore industry and engineering in general.
