•Coordinated all aspects of the office functions including negotiating office lease, contracting office supplies and equipment, and managing office staff.•Developed and implemented policies and procedures and ensured acquiescence with various company policies adopted as a result of interactions with the company chairman, supervisors and managerial staffs.•Annually, evaluated benefits package to assure variety of affordable packages were offered and available to diverse employment population. Facilitated employee meetings apprising the employees of new and existing plans. Over 1000 employees were offered four nationwide plans which fit the needs and costs of the employees and the company. •Administered COBRA; working directly with carriers to investigate and resolve any billing and enrollment discrepancies.•Managed the 401k Contribution Plan, worked with broker and committee on a design of the plan. Assisted participants with inquiries, provided the semimonthly submission to the vendors, and processed new hires, terminations, and deferral changes. Assisted in Internal and External audit efforts to ensure compliance with the Plan Documents.•Assisted the Board of Directors in promoting and administering the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) from the inception of the plan.•Instrumental in working with counsel to properly set up and administer the development of H1B Visa plan allowing the company to fulfill employment opportunities with recent specialized international engineering graduates. Thus, offering the company a wider range of employee candidates. •During company acquisitions, evaluated and compared the company’s benefits and compensation package to assure new employees would continue to receive comparable benefits. Acquisition preparation resulted in a 90% to 100% rollover of employees.
