Graphic Designer at Graffix, Inc. Wall of Fame. As a highly-motivated and results orientated advertising and marketing enthusiast, I fully intend on broadening my skills, experience and awareness of Brand and its influence on today's economy.Joining the marketing industry has been one of the most satisfying choices I have made. What I have learned has gained me insight into the broad industry of Marketing and Advertising in a way that not only entices me to keep going, but demands it.I find myself researching this field and acquiring partnerships that will help feed my passion as I develop the skills to help improve and refine my communication skills. Most of my interest in learning the customer base has come straight out of marketing departments at companies large and small over the past ten years. My experience has brought a constant analysis of how customers and clients see the company and what their expectations of us are as a brand. Brand management/awareness is a very influencing field and my personality is eager to move forward as fast as I can, while I gain a better understanding of and improving my role in the industry. Strategically keeping up with contemporary marketing concepts and principles of new business as well as those of the traditional methods will contribute to effectively and efficiently communicating value of a product, lifestyle and/or service to an ever changing target customer base.

Graphic DesignerWall Of Fame/Creative Embroidery May 2019 - PresentSioux City, Iowa, United StatesWall of Fame hired me to provide artwork for their production teams and vendors; but ultimately I work for its customers. I take ideas (or provided artwork) and go through an approval process until they’re happy. Display the art on products they’re interested in and then prepare the art for production. All orders are in different lifecycles. New ones convert to complete and around and around we go. All signage, trophies, awards, embroidery, digital, screenprint and promotional products are produced under the same standards and expectations. We have all the fine print where it needs to be shown which prevents anyone from being taken advantage of on all sides. The time provided to some artwork is a steal. I’ve been a graphic designer for many years and Wall of Fame delivers. It is fast-paced and detail-oriented. Always moving in and out of orders - all with different art, media and processes. The teams all work very hard together. Bosses run it like a well-oiled ship. So many pieces come together from starting as an idea in our customers heads. We get to be a part of a lot of organizations performing a lot of events; we’re there for a lot of coaches, students and athletes hitting a lot of games and tournaments. We enjoy working with businesses, schools, communities and governments in the tri-state area and beyond. It is our goal to ease the load of their busy lives and provide quick answers to questions. We adapt and learn from mistakes. We acquire new methods and equipment and adapt accordingly. We share the roles within and help each other. I appreciate the customers as well for allowing me to be a part of their lives and experiences. I am grateful to my boss for trusting me to show up every day and be better than I was yesterday. And the best part is that you never stop learning. This past quarter, I learned how to use a table saw to cut large pieces of metal for decals for signs. And, yeah, I’m also a loyal customer and haven’t been disappointed yet. 👩🏻💻 -

Graphic DesignerBlue Earth Marketing Aug 2013 - Jan 2014Sioux City, Iowa AreaI most recently joined an amazing marketing team at Blue Earth Marketing, a local marketing agency and subsidiary of Ho-Chunk, Inc. Although I was only able to collaborate and assist the team for a short-period of time, I gained a substantial amount of insight and experience into the world of a fast-paced, small business firm and the quick-turnaround practice of this particular industry. This firm was very helpful in my career as I was able to learn even more about the world of marketing. Our perspective of the marketing industry is broadened and expanded when acquiring new and existing client projects, yet every aspect is magnified and considered. We take our clients very seriously and focus 110% on each project, making sure to bring our best concepts to their attention and give them the best suited options per project. Our small group of copywriters, designers and sales/account management relied on the most efficient and effective teamwork and communication. I greatly enjoyed the more focused and high-level commitment to existing clients. This is a great company to work for! Here is a short list of my responsibilities:• Create artwork per clients’ request. Submit for reviews and client approval.• Communicate and generate ideas on marketing strategy with teammates and managers for clients and projects. Research client industry to ensure most accurate designs/concepts based on client brand/service and client audience.• Utilize company photo studio and equipment and design and photo-editing software; study and apply new trends for current creative techniques and up-to-date concept design/creation.• Maintain positive atmosphere and professional environment to best represent the company.• Meet with team and brainstorm new ideas to generate more profits and business for the company.
