I am passionate about the future of the tech industry. I consider myself a three-of-a-kind hand due to my interests in software development, cyber security, and data analysis. This is evident in my undergraduate educational studies, extracurriculars, and work experience. I believe my experience and skill set is what makes me stand out compared to others in my field.Since high school, I have embarked on a long journey of trying to understand what career I want to pursue. Ever since 2021, I have been working for several start-up companies. Each one is drastically different than the last. Thankfully, this experience has broadened my knowledge by exposing myself to a variety of different sectors the tech industry has to offer. In my professional experience, I have involved myself in various tech start-up roles working collaboratively in large groups of 20+ students as well as working exclusively with many CTOs. I apply my critical thinking, software engineering, and analytical ability to solve any problem. I have experience in data analysis, cleaning, and visualizations which help me solve real-world data science problems. I have a foundation in front-end and back-end software development, and I have experience in computer cryptography.In my educational experience, I am a leader and mentor in my University as the VP of Operations. It is my responsibility to oversee all organized events and ensure they run smoothly. I am also in charge of communicating directly with professionals in the cybersecurity industry and setting up networking events. I am also responsible for ensuring that technical knowledge and future work opportunity is communicated efficiently. In my volunteer experience, I believe it is important to stay involved in the community. I have spent many weekends and holidays helping at my local church to assist in teaching and physical labor. When I found out I was old enough to volunteer at the Mustard Seed I helped out as soon as I could and managed to inspire some friends of mine to come out too. My most impactful volunteer experience so far is the annual YYC Data Convention. I am volunteering for the YYC Data Society with the goal of growing and spreading awareness of the data science community as well as connecting people with industry professionals.I am passionate about becoming the difference maker for any given problem. I am always striving to enhance my knowledge and further grow my skill set. Ultimately, I believe I can and will make a positive impact on the future of our society.
