Senior Administrative Officer
Current• First point of contact for the organisation and manage 130 staff of the facility• Manage internal operations and improve customer service by maintaining systems and policies• Support new staff, contractors and agencies- from interview, induction through to orientation, ongoing support, payroll assistance, including time target authorisations, pay queries, changes in employee details, reference checks, sick leave annual leave authorisations and end of employment procedures• Maintaining staff training and education matrix and planning compliance documentation and checks (including Fit to Work, APHRA registration, VEVO Visa checks, Volunteer police checks)• Managing Time Target and attendance kiosk functions and petty cash management• Chairing general meetings, take meeting minutes, scheduling, prepare agendas and organise catering• Accreditation support- Play a key role for ongoing audit, compliance and documentations. Work together with compliance officers to meet the industry standards• Directly work with Executive Director (ED) on a day to basis and carry out tasks to support the ED to achieve organisational goals • Assist the Care Director with family case conferences for new and existing residents• Coordinate with local hospitals, rehab centres find suitable accommodation according to their financial, care needs and support plan• Health and Safety Officer- chair monthly meetings, ensure compliance and audits are undertaken in a regular basis and risk assessments documents maintained• Assist with events - Special day celebrations throughout the year• Management of stock, ARM, ID cards, Barker and Toll• Archive management of all staffing and clinical records
