I am the Executive Director for Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors. We are a trade association for Real Estate Professionals in the Midwest. Based in Kansas City, Missouri we have members from all over the metro area and from across the country. We strive to bring to all of our members plenty of resources to learn more about various real estate investing topics: wholesaling, landlording, flipping, note buying, investing with IRA money, and alternative forms of income.We also offer numerous networking opportunities to allow individuals to get together and do deals. We find that many members have the knowledge and know how to go out and execute very profitable transactions while at the same time we have people with funding that just do not how to invest or have the time to invest. Our networking events allow everyone to get together and form mutually beneficial partnerships. We do promote due diligence and vetting out potential investments and partners.Our third focus is to keep our members up to date with the issues currently affecting the real estate investing industry and the investments they may be making. We track current government issues at the local, state, and national level and make sure our members are informed and are able to make their voices heard individually as well as a part of a local and national Association. On a National Level, we are a part of National Real Estate Investors Association.Fourth we work very hard to bring connect or members to local and national vendors and to combine our buying power to bring powerful money saving discounts to places like: Home Depot, Sherwin Williams, Office Max, Fed Ex Office, and others.We invite you to check out our association. We meet once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of the money in Kansas City.
