About Kimi Sakamoto
During my tenure at Red Hawk Casino and prospering online retailers, I have sustained a record of marketing success. At Eckler's, I was brought on to help transition Email Service Providers from Bronto to Listrak in a pinch. Within one month, I was able to onboard with Listrak warming up IP addresses and simultaneously deploying emails out of Bronto for five domains; completing the ESP transition project early. Working alongside the Listrak team, we launched SMS and implemented GXP for Eckler's Corvette with a 22X ROAS.At APG, I worked with Listrak, our ESP, to integrate automated triggered messages including Welcome Series, Abandonment and Post Purchase campaigns for a couple of our divisions. In 2021, I helped increase our email marketing revenue by 78% while also growing our SMS channel by 12% over the year. At Red Hawk Casino, I implemented Airship (previously Urban Airship) — a customer engagement platform — transitioning our email and SMS programs from Adobe Campaign — a marketing automation tool — within four months. I was the lead on this project, working closely with Airship’s Senior Product Manager, Senior Implementation Engineer and Account Manager along with our IT and Business Intelligence teams. Prior to Airship, my colleagues and I successfully implemented Adobe Campaign and I now have working knowledge of JavaScript, database structure, workflows, queries, segmentation, subscriptions and campaign automation. Additionally, I prepared weekly email and SMS campaigns, push notifications, oversaw social media, and managed content on the website and mobile app.Furthermore, I was in San Diego State University’s first Social Media Marketing class. While I was a senior at SDSU, I was also an Account Manager at a social media marketing agency — Social Ups — where I planned, executed and maintained social media campaigns for 30 accounts.
