Microsoft has one of the best strategies and access to bring artificial intelligence to workplaces. I provide consulting and training to help organizations use Microsoft's technologies as a driver for collaboration. I focus on technologies for communication, collaboration, and community-building, and how to elevate them with artificial intelligence.

After the success of FutureFit Finland, Google, and SAK (Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions) wanted us to continue training digital skills to workers in Finland. This time the focus was on finding ways to scale the training of digital skills by bringing it online. Google.org granted us another funding. As the project manager, I designed, productized, marketed, and delivered a training program that would teach digital skills to over 700 hard-to-reach workers (and counting). They learned skills related to cloud services, information security and privacy, digital communication, artificial intelligence, and continuous learning. The success of SkillPlus Finland would not have been possible without the feedback and participation of our key partners. I had the pleasure of learning from them and coordinating our efforts. On top of Google and SAK, our partners were: Teollisuusliitto (Industrial Union), PAM (Service Union United), Rakennusliitto (Finnish Construction Trade Union), Kuljetusliitot, AKT (Finnish Transport Workers’ Union), PAU (Finnish Post and Logistics Union), RAU, Suomen Merimies-Unioni (Finnish Seafarers´ Union) and 9 businesses.

Google.org granted $2 million to Nesta, a global innovation foundation, who set up partnerships with trade unions in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium. Nesta has rolled out a program called FutureFit together with SAK (The Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions) that empowers workers with new digital skills that support them to adapt to changes in their workplace. Workers whose jobs are changing rapidly as a result of automation or digitalization—for example, people working in administration, manufacturing and the service industry. Työväen Sivistysliitto (Workers’ Educational Association of Finland) is responsible for the practical work of organizing the nation-wide training program for the workers.

Hailer is a tool that helps organizations manage all their processes in one place. I helped people discover how Hailer can help them be more productive and organized together.

TIEKE (Finnish Information Society Development Centre), a non-profit organization, expands digital knowledge and technology adoption in Finnish society. As a board member, I participated in strategic decision-making, governance, and shaping the organization's vision.

Helpdor is an online marketplace for services. It allows people to buy and sell local services like photography, language lessons, and cleaning. Responsibilities:-Lead company's growth roadmap and projects.-Contribute to long-term decision-making on company's strategy and vision.-Work with customers, designers, developers, and marketers to deliver great community software.Highlights:-Implemented a growth framework.-Created online resources and profitable campaigns that drive leads for almost 100% of company's revenue.-Continued month-over-month revenue growth while reducing costs.-Built automation for customer onboarding and feedback processes.-Prepared the service to expand to new cities.

Hubchat Inc. created Hubchat, a platform and network of interest-based communities. People can create communities around things like their hobbies, work and life goals. Communities can be implemented and accessed across websites and mobile apps. Hubchat Inc. has had up to 50 employees.Responsibilities:-Grow the user and community base of Hubchat.-Help businesses and consumers meet their community goals with Hubchat.-Contribute to long-term decision-making on Hubchat’s strategy and vision.-Work with customers, designers, developers and marketers to deliver great community software.Highlights: -Led a talented growth team that delivered branding, communication, copywriting, visual design, marketing, analytics, software development and community management. -Trained and led teams of senior business developers and partners in New York, Helsinki and Singapore. -Solved over 500 issues as the lead community manager of Hubchat’s global support community.-Launched a partnership with a 3rd party ad platform to monetize Hubchat’s communities.-Worked with thousands of communities around the world created by consumers to up to Fortune 500 companies. -Worked with mobile game developers to find the best way to implement communities into mobile games.

Kyrol Inc., a software company, created Bublaa, one of world’s first topic-centric networks. It launched just weeks after Google+. Bublaa is a platform and network of communities, where people create and discover discussions about a topic. Kyrol Inc. has had up to 15 employees. Responsibilities:-Grow the user and community base of Bublaa.-Help businesses and consumers meet their community goals with Bublaa.-Contribute to long-term decision-making on Bublaa’s strategy and vision.-Work with customers, designers and developers to deliver great community software.Highlights: -Brought Bublaa in front of millions of people by productizing it for businesses and websites.-Created and promoted a WordPress plugin that increased the amount of daily new communities by 10x, and brought over 10,000 new communities to Bublaa.-Solved over 1000 issues as the lead community manager of Bublaa’s global support community.-Led an internet marketing team that acquired 40 online influencers to use and promote Bublaa.-Trained and led teams of business development partners to acquire communities in the US, Europe and South America.-Worked with thousands of communities around the world created by consumers to up to Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities:-Grow the user and community base of Bublaa.-Grow the user base of Deitille.fi.Highlights:-Led the online marketing of three competitions and campaigns that brought over 25,000 new members to Bublaa.-Acquired and coordinated 10 of Finland’s most popular fashion bloggers to promote a fashion community of a major shoe retailer in Finland.•-Trained and led two international teams in internet marketing.

Deitille.fi allows members to find interesting people, and join a member-driven blogging community. Kyrol Inc. has had up to 15 employees. Responsibilities:-Grow the user base of Deitille.fi.Highlights:-Activated members of the blogging community as a community manager. -Created an official dating blog to bring new and returning members to the service.-Wrote 50+ keyword researched and search engine optimized articles on dating.-Coordinated a regular dating newsletter with co-writers and a graphic designer.
