Assistant to bookseller specializing in high-end antiquarian books by/about Winston Churchill and other literary figures of the 18th-20th century. Cataloging/researching books, managing the office, photography, and layout/design work. Approx. 20/hrs a week on a flexible schedule to allow me to continue freelancing. General Manager (full-time, salaried position) for the Electriquette project: bringing 25 electric wicker carts (based on the 1915 originals) back to Balboa Park and renting them out from a kiosk near the Fleet Science Center. * Management duties: hiring, training, scheduling, and overseeing 8-10 workers; financial reports; paperwork; legal requirements; day-to-day operational oversight. * Marketing materials: trifold brochure, A-Frame sign, ads on back of carts, kiosk signs. * Selling advertising on carts and web and negotiating partnerships with organizations. * Website Design and Social Media including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. * Photography for promotion and social media. * Administrative work including setting up rental policies, etc. * Planning the opening of the project and key events.Took this project from before it had a kiosk in the park to smooth operations. While the income became too slow in the winter for the owner to continue (as the City of San Diego delayed decisions to expand our route, which was needed to increase income), the Electriquettes were a vital part of Balboa Park which I am proud to have been the leading organizer for since before it opened in March 2016.

Designed postcards, posters, actor calling cards, and ads for this production of the Oscar Wilde play at the Coronado Playhouse. Also solicited advertising from businesses for the program, which I then designed.

Co-organized 3 day event celebrating the fictional boy inventor's 100th anniversary. Negotiated limited license from the publisher to use the images and text from the series. Teacher of record for freshman composition classes at USC. These were linked to Social Issue classes, which I was also Course Coordinator to manage other instructor's link to our Social Issues class. In addition, I worked in Writing 501 as a Instructional Coordinator, where I led workshops for new instructors to the department and showed them how to teach their freshman composition classes. I also designed the website for the Writing Program and Writing Center at USC for several years.

Teacher of record for freshman composition courses. These courses were computer-aided (in a computer lab once a week) and linked to a course with multicultural readings.
