PROFESSIONAL INSPIRATIONI am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with great people and drive meaningful projects every day. Collaborative team effort and tangible progress toward a common goal is my inspiration.Throughout my career, whether in a business development or operations role, establishing goals and fulfilling strategy to hit our benchmarks is my motivation. Every detail matters. From the complementary qualities of my team members to sourcing materials and hitting budget and timeline constraints, I really do enjoy every challenge of a project. I find that preparation and positivity are key factors in success. There are several things, professionally and personally, that fall outside of our control. Being prepared for the task at hand and bringing a positive attitude, even in the face of adversity, have immense contribution to a favorable outcome. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENTCommunity involvement and volunteering are important to me. As in my professional roles, I enjoy working with others to achieve a common goal. Since moving from Duluth to Minneapolis a year ago, I have been volunteering at Calvary Lutheran Food Shelf and Uptown Street Clean-up Crew. Prior to my move, I worked for several years at Visit Duluth, promoting that wonderful city on Lake Superior. Public service and community outreach are at my core.FAMILYI have three wonderful grown children. While I miss the days of supporting them at sporting and school events, I do love our adult relationships. In my spare time, if I am not hanging out with one of my kids or spending time in the community, you’ll find me on a trail with my pup Hazel.
