I have co-directed three summer study abroad programs to Sweden in 2019, 2022, 2024, with plans for another program in 2025. I facilitate experiential learning abroad with a focus on art, activism, and social justice, and incorporated BeREAL pedagogy in 2024, including mindfulness and yoga practices and inquiry. Responsible for all program details, such as housing, room scheduling, participant recruitment, curriculum design, communication with guest lecturers, student well-being, and budgeting. Programs resulted in great feedback from participants.

I use active learning strategies and communicative learning methodologies to help students learn and use the Swedish language. I also provide academic advising to students in the Scandinavian department, this includes academic counseling, supporting them in their college to career decision making, promoting the department's courses across campus, facilitating community-building events, collaborating with Humantities Academic Services, and managing student databases.

I provided academic advising for students in the UW Honors Program, advised prospective students and families in admissions processes, supported the Bonderman Travel Fellowship, and collaborated with the academic services team to develop curriculum for and co-instruct Honors courses, including HONORS100, first-year seminar for incoming students and HONORS397, Peer Educator leadership course.

I develop the curriculum for and teach a student success course for Running Start students (high school students taking college courses). This course helps students identify career interests, strengths, values, well-being strategies, and goals; and to reflect on their professional and personal plans for the future.

I provided academic counseling and program coordination for J-1 international students from over 14 countries such as Pakistan, India, Egypt, Indonesia, and Brazil. The Community College Initiative (CCI) was funded by the U.S. Department of State to offer educational opportunities, professional development, and exposure to American society.

I provided academic advising for hundreds of diverse students including veterans, first-generation, and Running Start students. I coordinated the Orientation to College program for two years, researched best practices related to the First Year Experience, designed curriculum, trained new instructors, and conducted New Student Advising sessions and Running Start orientations. I also taught face-to-face, hybrid, and online Student Success courses.
