I have been in the Education field since September, 2000. I began teaching at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Phila. PA as a Third grade teacher. I taught at St. Thomas from September , 2000 until June, 2004. September, 2004, I began teaching grades 7 and 8 Social Studies and was the 7th grade homeroom teacher. In June, 2005 I was let go from Mt. Carmel because of low enrollment for the following school year. I was also the most recent person to be hired, so I was let go for seniority reasons as well.I became a Nanny in December 2005 and also returned to Graduate School at Neumann College to pursure my MS in Education and receive my PA certification. In June 2006, my father became very ill and I was forced to stop working for thr summer. In August of 2006, I was given the Team Leader position for the Penn Assessment Team at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. I held that position for 1 year. I was asked to return the following shool year, however I had to turn down the offer because it was not full time. In July 2006, I returned to nannying for a few months until December 2007. I was asked to return to St. Thomas Aquinas School to take over an 8th grade class until June, 2008.Currently, I am a nanny and currently researching education on Assessment of students.
