Our flagship product, Polly Pineapple, is an all-natural, multi-texture teething toy that helps soothe a child's gums through all stages of the teething process. And for every Polly purchased, we make a donation to No Kid Hungry that can provide a hungry American child with up to 21 meals--an entire week's worthIn addition to working with the other cofounders to devise the startup's overarching strategy and design the initial product offering, I have been responsible for developing the firm's financial projections, crafting the overall message and drafting marketing collateral, and executing the marketing strategy.

Medication adherence is essential to achieving desired clinical outcomes, reducing healthcare-related expenditures, and improving quality of life. Terrapin Pharmacy improves the lives of individuals suffering from complex physical and mental disorders who require multiple medications by simplifying the medication management process for patients and healthcare providers alike. The company has spent the last decade continually rethinking pharmacy services and medication management in order to introduce new processes and innovations that help people overcome the barriers to medication adherence, thereby improving outcomes and reducing costs. One such innovation is a remote medication management system called Medherent that leverages Terrapin's pharmacy fulfillment process, an in-home medication dispenser, and care management software to improve adherence for high risk patients. Terrapin Pharmacy's innovative approach to pharmacy fulfillment and serving patients--especially the Medherent technology--has driven rapid sales growth.During my time at Terrapin, I was responsible for planning and managing the rollout of Medherent devices; devising and executing the Medherent growth strategy; building the Medherent team; project managing the NIH SBIR grant; overseeing production of the Medherent devices; managing ongoing improvements to the Medherent system; and revamping the Terrapin marketing collateral and website.

WellNovation is a healthcare incubator focused on improving population health by bringing innovative concepts in prevention, retail care, digital health, and novel diagnostics to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Region. WellNovation is committed to combining the most advanced science, technology, and evidence-based clinical protocols with innovative commercial structures, such as public private partnerships (PPPs), to address fundamental healthcare challenges in the GCC. As the Director of Strategy and Development, I worked side by side with the Managing Director to establish the incubator, recruit staff, design key business processes, identify technology providers and retail partners, and develop targeted pitches for potential partners. Additionally, I developed the strategic plan for the incubator's first 18 months, including market segmentation, detailed timelines, and high level financial projections.

The PwC Middle East Health Industries consulting team works with clients across the full spectrum of healthcare stakeholders including providers, governments, and payers to identify, address, and overcome the strategic and operational challenges they face.Hired as the third member of the Saudi Arabian-focused healthcare practice, I played a key role in establishing and growing both the business and the team. I served as the project manager--setting and managing the budget, developing timelines, delegating tasks, interfacing with the client, and overseeing team output--on a number of engagements including the development of the strategy for a greenfield medical city. Additionally, I was the primary author of nearly all Saudi-focused RFP responses, proposals, and pitches developed during her tenure, helping to secure engagements with the Ministry of Health, among other key clients.

The Advisory Board Company (acquired by Optum in 2017) was a best practices firm that leverages a combination of research, technology, and consulting to improve the performance of health care organizations.During my tenure, I focused on identifying cross sell opportunities for a new best practices focus area, the Financial Leadership Council, consistently outperforming revenue goals and earning a promotion within six months of joining the company.
