About Kim Le

Are you a Finance or IT leader who knows what the financial pitfalls are in gross margin, Opex and EBITDA for your org? But are you possibly struggling to get data-driven metrics and reports to make strategic decisions or changes? If you are nodding along until here...We might possibly share common interests. For 25 years, I've been privileged to solve financial and IT general controls (ITGC) challenges with wickedly sharp professionals from tech, fintech, cleantech, and biotech companies like Airbnb, CNET, Intuit, Ripple Labs, Stanford, and Uber to name a few. From these systems, internal controls, SOX readiness and SOX compliance projects, we built audit automation and tools like SOD Check™ for NetSuite system segregation of duties diagnostics to analyze massive data algorithms among others.Through decades of internal controls work, I noticed hidden patterns of how companies are possibly leaving money on the table. Lost money that belongs to you.According to Deloitte, many companies are losing between 1% to 5% of their vendor payments due to billing errors, contract non-compliance, or duplicate payments. Lost money that belongs to you.My mission now is to help CXOs improve their gross margin or EBITDA with advanced analytics by organizing and connecting data into predictive metrics. My offer to you?1) If you’re wondering how vendor payment cost recovery might improve your bottom line, take this assessment. It’s not for everyone.2) If you’re wonder how much SOX compliance costs, take this assessment. It shows you the factors to consider and how expensive it can get.3) If you need to get a Big Four audit-ready NetSuite segregation of duties diagnostic with only 2 standard reports and no system set up, check out SODCheck.com.And if you don't need any of the above, welcome to my profile anyway. I’m sure our paths will cross.P.S. While doing the above, I built Directors League, a community exclusively of board of directors serving on publicly-traded companies.P.P.S. Before all of this...I spent 8 years in public accounting doing audits, IPOs and M&A due diligence at Arthur Andersen (Big 8 CPA firm). Ironic... because the Enron scandal brought down Andersen because of internal controls fraud...P.P.P.S. Before that, I grew up dirt poor. My mom, baby brother and I were among the refugees from Vietnam who escaped to Malaysia in 1978. I spent one year in a refugee camp before coming to the US. After Andersen imploded in 2003, I founded A2Q2 to successfully sponsor work visas for two friends.
