I work as a Senior Software Engineer & Cloud Competence Lead at Huld, where I help industrial companies, mainly within the energy sector to design and build scalable and distributed Cloud systems.The majority of my time is spent working as a Senior Software Engineer in customer projects, with a focus on distributed cloud systems. I still work on the cloud-based simulation platform I designed and implemented during Devatus days.Together with other competence leads, a chunk of my time is spent supporting Huld in developing cloud competence internally, in order to better help our customers and increase the market value of our experts.

I worked as a Software Engineer at Devatus where I helped customers within the industrial & energy sectors in designing and building scalable distributed Cloud systems. This included building backend APIs, cloud infrastructure and DevOps related tasks.I did my MSc thesis project for Devatus. I researched scaling of Kubernetes clusters and Cloud Native applications.Helped one organization on their cloud native journey, by migrating their legacy applications running on an outdated monolithic linux server to Kubernetes in Azure. I designed and implemented a cloud-based simulation platform for a customer, all aimed at allowing the customer to gain a significant competitive advantage within their respective industry. This platform helps saving a lot of costs and contribute to a more sustainable future.In May 2022 Devatus Oy got acquired by Huld.

Worked as a BSc Thesis Worker researching how to build a cloud-based automated software testing platform. I learned automated software testing of mobile applications using Appium, and how to build REST APIs using Spring Boot.

I got a freelancing gig to create a custom CMS from scratch for an Ostrobothnian Journalists' Association. This CMS worked both as their website as well as a fully custom booking system for renting their summer cottage to anyone interested.
