Kim May is the president of Nobox Creative, a full-service strategic marketing firm. In addition to helping businesses grow and succeed, she plans one-of-a-kind events and fundraisers and loves to write; you may have read her articles in Amarillo Magazine and Connect Magazine. An entrepreneur at heart, Kim has 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, non-profit and political campaigns. She thrives on brainstorming and solving problems -- hers and those of everyone she knows.Kim began her advertising and marketing career when she opened one of the first telecommunication retail stores in Denver, Colorado. After relocating to Amarillo she eventually adjusted to the lack of mountains and scenery and now considers Amarillo home. Kim worked as director of marketing, business development, and research and development for Cellular One of Amarillo 10 years. She played a vital role in bringing wireless internet to Amarillo in the late 90's and worked with local businesses to create the first Wi-Fi hotspot network in the city. An active member of the Amarillo community, Kim has served on the board of directors for Junior Achievement, Don Harrington Discovery Center, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the High Plains Food Bank. She is also a founding member of Diabetes Foundation of the High Plains and past president of the Association of Angel Fire Property Owners.
