As Administrative & Creative Director for the Center for Child Health Policy and Senior Program Manager in the Department of Health Policy, Kim works on a range of projects and initiatives that seek to translate, interpret and disseminate health policy research through design, data visualization, digital, print and other mediums. She spearheads the Center for Child Health Policy's internal and external marketing and communications initiatives and oversees activities, events, staff, and member engagement.

Firefly is a patient-centered service-delivery model that aims to improve the quality of care and reduce costs for pregnant and postpartum people with opioid use disorder (OUD) and their infants through state-driven care transformation. Firefly is funded by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Maternal Opioid Misuse (MOM) model.Kim leads VUMC in partnering with TennCare and the state's three managed care organizations to leverage innovative approaches to improve care coordination, payment modeling, and service integration, improving outcomes for the maternal-infant dyad.She is also currently serving as the interim Firefly Clinic Manager, leading a team of social workers, peer recovery specialists, and other staff in providing care to pregnant and postpartum people with substance use disorder, as well as managing clinic operations, processes, strategic planning, hiring, data collection and partnerships for the Firefly program.

+ Developed new branding strategy including logo and marketing materials that promote healthy food access and food justice for Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) ‘Baltimarket’ program + Re-designed, branded, and developed new educational and promotional materials for BCHD Asthma program to help low-income families access resources and information about asthma management

+ Devised research-based evaluation plan for Baltimore City’s Bike Share program, including recommendations for program expansion, data collection, and analysis+ Designed marketing strategy and materials to reach diverse audiences and increase bike share usage amongst low-income communities

+ Lead the Sierra Club's grassroots, advocacy, organizing and education efforts around women's health, reproductive rights, and environmental sustainability for the Sierra Club's Gender, Equity and Environment Program. Work involved: + Lead a team of staff and volunteers to advocate for legislation that supports women's health, economic empowerment, and climate resilience efforts locally, domestically, and internationally + Developed and organized workshops, volunteer training, educational events, webinars, and other events to inform and engage the public and policymakers around women's health and the environment + Wrote, edited, and designed advocacy tools, educational materials, blog and newsletter posts, articles, and other resources for students, volunteers, Sierra Club members and policy makers + Presented on the Sierra Club's work and the local and global connections between women's health, livelihoods and climate change at domestic and international conferences and events + Wrote grants, developed and maintained donor relationships, and managed a $1.5 million program budget

+ Helped develop and organize the Gloria Steinem Leadership Institute, a training for young reproductive health advocates + Lobbied for access to affordable birth control and comprehensive sexuality education on campus and Capitol Hill+ Served as the first student member on the Board of Directors+ Won a Generation Award for young leaders in the reproductive rights movement
