Hello, I'm a third-year student at Colorado State University, pursuing a career in the filmmaking or broadcast journalism industry upon graduation. My ultimate goal is to merge my passions for film and dance to create powerful dance films that shed light on important social justice issues.Throughout my projects, I place a strong emphasis on cultivating empathy and compassion for others. As a first-generation Hispanic woman, I am deeply motivated to tell stories that defy the norm and amplify the voices of marginalized communities, particularly within the Hispanic community that often goes unnoticed or marginalized.By challenging the status quo and incorporating multiple perspectives, I strive to create narratives that leave a lasting impact and drive positive change. I am dedicated to using my creative skills and unique background to contribute meaningfully to the world of visual storytelling and social activism. As well, as following the idea of helping to preserve the art of dance digitally through both filmmaking and photography.
