Yardstick Analytics is a business improvement platform that arrays company results in a cross-functional, performance-driver orientation which allows a more effective analysis of performance. This also allows these results to be benchmarked to amalgamated data from cohorts participating in Yardstick programs.

Managed and performed day-to-day activities related to planning, preparation, and consolidation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets / long-range plans for NBA Digital, a joint venture Turner has with the National Basketball Association.

As the Corporate Controller I was responsible for the company's monthly close procedures, coordinated quarterly reviews and year end audits, consolidated financial statements and compiled the information for all reporting. I filed and paid sales taxes on the company's behalf, as well as quarterly estimates and federal and state income tax payments. In addition to my accounting duties, I was also the IT Manager for the Corporate Office. I would troubleshoot problems in house when possible and was the point of contact for any outsourcing.

In my position as Assistant Controller I was the point of contact for the company's Mid-Atlantic Division and was responsible for all month end processes and producing the monthly financial statements. I gathered all necessary information and compiled the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the company's six divisions. I worked on various projects, powerpoint presentations, and reporting for annual board and budget meetings. I assisted the Controller and CFO with adhoc projects, due diligence work and served as the backup for the Controller regarding IT management.

Produced financial statements for the Dulles Suites Marriott Hotel and managed the AP, revenue capture, cashier and audit functions. Responsible for reconciling all balance sheet accounts and managed all hotel bank accounts. Facilitated hotel wide training classes and presented the hotel's monthly results at staff meetings.
