Kim Mens is full Professor in Computer Science at UCLouvain university, Belgium, where he teaches a variety of courses on programming and programming languages, software architecture, design and development, software engineering, maintenance and evolution, and software analysis. He holds degrees of Licentiate in Mathematics, Licentiate in Computer Science, and a PhD in Computer Science. He leads the RELEASeD research laboratory on software evolution and software development technology. His main research interests include software development, maintenance, evolution and context-oriented programming with a particular emphasis on programming languages, source code analysis and tool support for software developers, as well as the study of best practices in teaching computer science.
