I was working with dozens of customer engagements as Senior Project Manager.Most of my projects included a creation or an improvement of IT service or application and transtitioning a created solution to become as part of ongoing IT service. My projects were related to e.g. following technologies & tools: networks , WLAN , DHCP , DNS , PKI ( Public Key Infrastructure ), Active Directory , authentication , SSO , videoconferencing , VoIP , Telecom expense management, UCC ( Unified communications & collaboration ) , Jabber , IBM Sametime , IP-PBX , Oracle Fusion , Oracle Hyperion , Business Process Management , Sharepoint , Windows 10 , Mobile Device Management , Intune .

I worked as IT Manager for HP Consulting business unit for Nordic & Baltic countries, Benelux and UK & Ireland. In this role, I was responsible for coordinating IT activities like infrastructure purchases and new process and tool deployments. I acted as an interface between regional and HP Consulting WW IT team.During this time I acted as Project Manager in several system implementations in HP Consulting • Implement a time tracking application to HP Nordic countries. • Ensure Euro currency readiness for applications used at HP Consulting Europe. • Coordinate changes Indian development team made to European level project financial tracking tool to conform with changed revenue recognition -rules ("SAB101"). • Deploy new Lotus Notes based quotation tool for 3rd party products to selected European countries

I acted as Business Administration Manager in HP Oy Sales Administration. I was heading a department, which was responsible that configurations were made for proposals, customer orders were booked, acknowledgements sent, shipments and invoicing done and finally money collected from customers.Besides operational day-to-day activities, I was heavily involved with e.g. • Maintaining ISO9001 quality system for my department • Ensuring Y2K readiness for Sales applications • Implementing electronic configuration & ordering tools for main corporate customers • Streamlining logistical co-operation with main corporate customers. E.g. to enable direct shipments inside Europe, I was Project Manager for HP Oy’s VAT-registration in Germany and in France and associated Order Fulfilment application changes

I acted as Process development manager in HP Oy Sales Administration. I developed processes, which were often related to maintaining the ISO9001 quality certificate. I was also administrating shipment application that was used by HP’s logistical hub for Nordic countries in Copenhagen.

After HP Oy’s operational servers were consolidated to HP Coordination Center in Brussels, Belgium I also relocated there. I acted as Application engineer supporting Sales & Marketing, Intra-company billing, Customs clearance and Accounting applications for approximately 20 European countries. Application engineers were responsible for providing 2nd level application support, database maintenance, batch job maintenance and new software installations for their applications and countries. Applications were mostly running on HP3000 platform.

I was responsible for HP Oy’s datacenter operations. My team consisted of operators, system managers and network specialists.

My first job at HP was System analyst at IT department. Using development tools like Cognos Powerhouse I developed local applications. Typically major operational applications were globally standardized so the local development was mainly due to local needs or local legislation. Development took place mainly in HP3000 environment.

I was working at Imatran Voima’s IT department. I provided PC support, developed PC based applications for power plants in Lahti and Vanaja and worked in VAX/VMS support. In year 1988 I did my M.Sc(eng) thesis for Imatran Voima about “Analyzing cost uncertainties in investment projects” having Pori power plant as a case study.
