Currently supporting several companies trough board position and as an advisor to the CEO through TRauma Holding.Before starting the chapter as board professional Kimmo was leading electrification business globally in Danfoss and earlier as CEO in Visedo. Kimmo has also co-founded several technology start-ups in fields such as dental technology and machine learning. His vision is that decarbonization across industries will only happen if we find sustainable business models where making a green impact is build in, "The best energy is the one we don't use".His flair for recognizing innovation and impact potential led him to expand Danfoss’s Editron division by acquiring new businesses around the world. Additionally, Kimmo’s expertise has caught the attention of business and mainstream media, such as The Economist, the BBC and Forbes.Kimmo holds both Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering. He has been honored as the Electrical Engineer of the year 2018 in Finland, best business build in engineering 2019 and the best business strategy for a new company 2011. He sits on the LUT University’s Board of Directors and in the board of several technology companies.
