I have contracted to compile two books for UPM's Conversations series, one on Trina Robbins, collector, historian, and feminist pioneer, and the other on Denis Kitchen, cartoonist, curator, and publisher. I have submitted both of these books now and expect publication in 2025.

"Women in Comics: Looking Forward and Back" showed over 200 works by women cartoonists. The first floor showed 80+ original artworks, artifacts, and photos from the personal collection of the woman that rediscovered them, author and herstorian Trina Robbins. On the second floor, we took a look at current comics and graphic novels comics with new work by 20 artists including Lynda Barry, Gabrielle Bell, Colleen Doran, Trinidad Escobar, Joyce Farmer, Margot Ferrick, Emil Ferris, Mary Fleener, Ebony Flowers, the late Noel Franklin, Lee Marrs, Alitha Martinez, Barbara Mendes, Summer Pierre, Afua Richardson, Fiona Smyth, Ann Telnaes, Carol Tyler, Jen Wang, Tillie Walden, and Kriota Willberg.

The exhibition Women in Comics will be on display at the Palazzo Merulana Museum in Rome opening May 31 in conjunction with the ARF! Comics Festival and the US Embassy. We will have 1970’s work from “All Girl Thrills” #1 and “Girl Fight” #1, plus new art from Joyce Farmer, Lee Marrs, Lynda Barry, Fiona Smyth, Mary Fleener, Carol Tyler, Gabrielle Bell, Colleen Doran, Trinidad Escobar, Margot Ferrick, Emil Ferris, Ebony Flowers, Noel Franklin, Jennifer Hayden, Alitha Martinez, Barbara Mendes, Summer Pierre, Afua Richardson, Ann Telnaes, Tillie Walden, and Kriota Willberg. The “She Makes Comics” documentary will be screening with Italian subtitles. Kim also organized a series of Zoom panels with American and Italian artists.

Venture with cartoonist/author/publisher Denis Kitchen and scholar/archivist/author Jim Danky to develop comics-themed exhibitions for museum tours drawing on our amazing access to the works of such artists as Will Eisner, Harvey Kurtzman and Al Capp, plus the underground comix community past and present.Designed, built and coordinated the Comix Classics app for iPhone, iPad & Android on Toura's mobile platform.

At LARC, I designed an on-line union label exhibit, consulted on database development on the SFSU DIVA system, and helped organize their extensive collection of union buttons. I have happily continued my relationship with LARC as a collaborator on art projects, notably the Labor Landmarks photography project and the Syndicate project for Bay Area Now 5.

As a freelance assistant, I researched and found key artists for the SFSU exhibition "Eco: Art about the Environment" and also coordinated the opening event, which included panels, a band, a cross city bike tour, video displays by KQED and the de Young museum, a film festival and other components. I also coordinated panel discussions at SFSU and the de Young for the "High 5" public art project.

Responsible for 4 person cross-functional team building & maintaining site; Devised corporate identity standards & enforced them cross-media; drove initiatives on user testing, digital marketing, competitor/market research & game development; Liaison between marketing, engineering & upper management. Managed free-lancers, purchased stock photos, fonts & software; Designed & coordinated implementation of several co-branded sites: in the US with WebTV (Microsoft), Publisher’s Clearinghouse & Horoscopes.com & with web portals in the UK, France and Hong Kong.
