The College of BLS brings together 8 Academic Schools (Biosciences, Dentistry, Healthcare Sciences, Medicine, Optometry & Vision Sciences, Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Psychology and incorporates the Welsh Deanery of Postgraduate Medical & Dental Education), 6 Medical Research Institutes and 2 University Research Institutes.Kim's role formed part of the College's Board of Directors, with the primary remit to lead the delivery of an effective and efficient human resources service to the College Office and Schools, incorporating the identification, development and implementation of long term Policy & Strategy underpinned by a well defined business partnering model that supports clinical and non-clinical academic teaching and scholarship, research, technical applications and professional services.

The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry is built on a long tradition of expertise, with over 200 years of medical teaching and resarch, combined with a century of oral and dental science. The Faculty is based in the University and hospital locations across the City of Bristol. Working in Partnership, the Faculty is home to 3 specialist schools - Clinical Sciences; Social & Community Medicine; and Oral & Dental Science - with each school working in close partnership with NHS Trusts, creating an integrated environment for education and research.Kim's remit was to lead the HR team to engage with the Faculty Schools, the wider University and Alliance Partners in the provision of an effective and efficient customer orientated service that delivers pragmatic and business focused outcomes.

EDMI design, development and manufacture innovative and technologically advanced energy meters and metering systems for the global utility industry.Kim was responsible for developing and driving a strategic change agenda for HRM Policy across the Australian Operation; as well as the provision of consultancy services for local, national and international applications of employment law, development of employment conditions and practices and specification design and procurement of an integrated HRIS/Payroll system.

Senior Management and key Leadership role focused on the development and promotion of the OD Strategy across the Epworth Group - comprising the development of strategic programs, initiatives and supporting processes and systems, to increase the effectiveness of the organisation through its Leaders and people.

AITD is the assocation of choice for professionals in training, learning and development. The mission of the Institute is to be a leader in fostering excellence, innovation and professional integrity in training, learning and development for the workplace.Having a close regard for this mission, which connects with my commitment to learning and development, I have enjoyed many years of membership with the Institute.In 2009 I was humbled to be nominated and elected to the position of President for the Queensland/Northern Territory Division.As Divisional President, I was fortunate to work alongside a highly professional team of experts in their chosen fields of training, learning and development, to provide guidance and support in enabling the Division's Vision and Objectives to be realised, in line with the Institute's National Strategic Agenda. Notwithstanding, our continued focus has always been on the relationship with our membership - meeting needs and expectations of service delivery by the Institute and Divisional Council.During this period, I was nominated and elected to Chair the National President's Committee.Upon my relocation to Melbourne, I was required to surrender the position.
