Dr. Kim Chambers, a college administrator and educator, has devoted over 30 years in higher education administration, college student development, and educational technology application. In 1995 Kim earned a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. He also holds both a Specialists in Education (Ed.S.) and a Masters in Education (M.Ed) in Higher Education Administration and Counseling from the University of Florida and a BA in Psychology also from the University of Florida. His field of study and academic discipline is college student development and higher education with a special emphasis on effective educational use of technology. Kim’s research at the doctoral level focused on college student identity development which he applies through his teaching, administration, and faculty development work focusing on improving the education climate at the universities where he has worked.
