I have a passion for teaching all students and want to help them reach their individual full potential.Some great accomplishments I have had in my career include having the highest value-added score in the 2017-2018 year when I taught Humanities included reading, social studies, and reading intervention in the general education setting. 73% of my general education class passed the Third Grade Guarantee for the 2018-2019 year by January. And finally, dramatically improving behavior and the quality of life in a student who was aggressive and non-verbal on the Autism Spectrum. I have taught individuals in a general education classroom and a small group setting for those who need a more specialized learning experience. I especially enjoy teaching reading and studying behavior of students. I have co-taught classes, worked in trial based interventions, taught in small group settings, and served as the only teacher in a classroom of 30 students.
