About Kimberlee Pita
Non-profit executive, brand activator, marketing strategist, inspirational speaker, author and writer, blogger, volunteer and philanthropist...this is me.I leverage my real life experiences to transform industry pioneers, non-profit organizations and family-owned businesses from chaos and uncertainty to harmony and prominence. I do this by helping to build nurturing cultures and operational structures internally, and delivering meaningful and relevant brand stories externally.I share what I know through engaging talks on topics such as life transformation, developing board leaders, understanding generational differences, personal branding, marketing plan construction and overcoming the fear of mental health.I have opened hearts and minds to the world of mental health through my work as Board Chair of Mental Health Connecticut. I also served as a marketing consultant for InterCommunity, Inc. and as a volunteer walk team organizer for National Association of Mental Illness Connecticut. In 2019, I self published Split Endz: A Tale of 2 Crazy Sisters, a memoir about my extraordinary transformation after the tragic death of my younger sister, Kelly. On Valentine's Day 2011, she died by a drug overdose, ending her 20-plus year struggle with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. As a believer in the power of connections, I have devoted time and energy over the years to organizations such as United Way's Women United, Senior Executive Women's Network, Connecticut Women's Council, Angel Charities/Angel Ride, CBIA's Small Business Advisory Council, where I served as chairwoman for six years, and CBIA Board of Directors.Interested in my high energy, marketing passion and depth of transformational knowledge?
