I love identifying a need or problem and using strategic and innovative thinking to meet the challenge. Some of my favorite career moments include the following:• From the ground up, created a framework for an online learning program for preK-14 educators, developed and implemented final product scaling to twelve learning designs, and in two years grew engagement in the initiative from 300 to 3500 annual participations.• Created and led a university Open Educational Resources (OER) initiative, realizing more than $200,000 savings to students in two years, to address the problem of textbook costs.• Created and co-produced a weekly podcast with more than 20,000 streams and downloads in two years, amplifying and increasing reach of diverse educator voices from across Oregon.• Designed, developed, and implemented online performance support for working adults to modernize the online learning experience and increase staff efficiency by proactively decreasing learner questions.• Created image campaigns for two organizations to re-brand their learning spaces as welcoming to all.Day to day, I create and lead for learning with a focus on growth, innovation, and community.
