The CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois was formed in 1998 to ensure ongoing funding for Illinois CPA Society scholarship and outreach programs. Funded solely by voluntary donations, these programs are geared toward attracting students to the CPA profession and supporting students who alone cannot keep up with the rising costs of the educational requirements necessary to become a CPA.

The Women’s Executive Committee (“WEC”) of the ICPAS is excited to have started a mentoring program - Mentoring Circles. Mentoring Circles give a new twist to traditional “mentoring.” These Circles benefit women of all ages and in all stages of professional development. Not only do junior members learn from those with more experience, but mid-level and senior professionals gain an invaluable opportunity to hone management skills, build relationships and develop referral networks. In the WEC Mentoring Circles each member is both a mentee and a mentor. For this reason, the second term, “circle” is significant and a far more accurate description of the program. Mid and senior-level professionals will be mentored not only by their peers and those more senior, but also by less experienced colleagues, who offer invaluable perspectives on how to effectively manage junior professionals, and provide other (and perhaps very different) perspectives on networking, professional development and other practice matters.

The Chicago Tax Club is a nonprofit association consisting of tax professionals employed by corporations and other businesses. The principal function of our organization is providing educational and networking events, in order to assist our members in identifying and resolving tax compliance, planning and audit issues relating to their employers.
