- Direct and develop all components of Asher College’s Career Services department for Sacramento campus and Lead Director for Asher College’s Career Services teams for 3 branch campuses.-Develop relationships with employers to provide a wide base of employment opportunities for current students and alumni.- Provide advice and placement assistance to students and graduated regarding field of study including, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Records & Revenue, Office Administration & Accounting, Information Technology & System Administration. - Provide career counseling and advising to all enrolled students; assisting enrolled students and recent alumni with job search strategies to obtain part/full-time employment. - Maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff and branch campuses. - Develop and manage Career Development workshops.- Developed and facilitate 8 weeks Soft Skill Career Development workshops. - Initiate Advisory Committee to maintain academic excellence leading to gainful employment for Asher College Graduates. -Update Learning Management database of all successful placements noting employer, job title, start date and salary.-Maintain records of all job orders and submit qualified graduates, as well as communication with graduates on career opportunities.-Perform employer surveys, conduct job market surveys-Participate with local employment agencies in creating staffing consortium, sat on forum boards for, re entry customers, legal aid, and community resources.-Facilitated programs through The Pacific Institute - Thought Patterns for a Successful Career, Taking it to the Next Level and College to Career Transitions.
