I'm CEO and co-founder of Guided, providing bespoke financial planning for people who are conscious that life is short. I've been a Chartered Financial Planner for almost two decades. Time really does fly. After my law degree I took a training contract in one of the best local Financial Advice firms in the area.In 2016 I moved to Bristol, looking for a new challenge and founded Parafinity, a top notch, female led, outsourced paraplanning business. I grew the business from my bedroom into a thriving team of 10 serving some of the UKs best financial planners. I'm proud of that. Then, as it does, life threw me an unexpected curve ball. My husband was diagnosed with cancer. The same cancer that killed his mum at 48. Quite the wakeup call. It got dealt with and he's fine 🤞but when the fog lifted, I was hit with the realisation that Life is Short. This became my mantra. A really positive, life affirming mantra. With Parafinity now in the capable hands of Suzanna and Rosie, it really was finally time to launch my own financial advice brand. Guided Financial provides bespoke financial planning focused on pivotal life events. A brand for people who are conscious that Life is Short and really want to live it, with purpose, positivity and authenticity.
