About Kimberley-Marie Sklinar (Ciic)

We spend a third of our day at work. A third of a day is a long time, so it’s important that we spend it feeling fulfilled in what we do.As an internal communicator, I’m passionate about making sure employees get the most of their third of a day at work. It’s important that they feel informed and engaged during that time, that they understand and feel a purpose to the job they do. After all, shared connection, meaning, and trust are key to a thriving and healthy workplace – and it’s my job to help you achieve these goals with efficient, people-centred internal communication.I’ve spent my ‘thirds’ at a variety of organisations, with experience in large-scale transformation programmes and change projects, launching new communications channels, business partnering with senior leadership, improving and acting on measurement, working with line managers and much more.Outside of work, I spend one of my other thirds as part on the Institute of Internal Communications’ #FutureNet Committee. I’m currently studying the CIPR Specialist Diploma in Internal Communications with PR Academy. I am a volunteer English tutor to refugees at Leeds Ukrainian Community Association, and enter the occasional triathlon.
