Colleagues describe her as "Kim is an incredible person to work with. During my time contracting at BallotReady, I had the absolute pleasure to work under the team being led by Kim. Kim is incredibly kind, honest, and knowledgeable in her craft, and was an all around tremendous leader for the product team. If you’re looking for a highly knowledgeable product leader to add to your team, look no further than Kim!", "Kim is an incredible mentor and product leader that will bring valuable product expertise to any team she is part of! Her product-centered mindset allows her to make informed product decisions, craft proper product strategy and release products to the market that focus on delivering a great user experience. I was lucky enough to managed and mentored by Kim and I couldn't have asked for anyone better! Her patience, care and ability to teach while motivating me to reach my goals and improve professionally have impacted me greatly. Kim is a trusted leader that will bring any team success and value while fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.", and "Kim is an incredibly thoughtful product leader, with deep expertise in managing complex challenges. Her ability to sort through tangled processes, identify priorities, and advocate for strategic decisions makes her an invaluable team member and a trusted leader. In the time we worked together, Kim built an entire product practice from scratch while also working in the weeds of product management at an organization that had no prior context for what product was about. Her leadership enabled our small, brand new product team to deliver lasting value across multiple internal teams, as well as for the end users of our external product. Her commitment to the benefits of the product process (and her insistence that EVERYONE should approach their work with a product mindset) also led to a very successful shift in approach to team structure across the organization, enabling team members to take on more product ownership, which resulted in better processes across the board. Kim led 0-1 product development, feature updates, and overall product strategy -- all of this while also being a wonderful mentor and manager. I consider myself very lucky to have worked with her, and I am confident that she will be an asset to any team she is a part of!"

With only weeks left before the Global Citizen Festival, website requirements poured in from every team in the organization. I collected requirements and design and copy deliverables from across teams to provide the technology team with everything they needed to get the site ready in time for the event, while insulating them from the frenzy of the rest the organization. I ensured we maintained an efficient agile process, facilitating triaging, prioritizing, and assigning final requirements to ensure a smooth pre-festival deployment that included the most important new fixes and features. I documented contingency plans for our site’s highest traffic day ever, including all possible failures and plans for each possibility. I also created workflows to ensure the team would be prepared to deal with any urgent day-of requests. As things settled down after the festival, attention turned toward fixing internal processes. I worked with the team and the rest of the organization to develop and document an agile process that works for the organization’s unique culture and needs.
