Assure 13,500 DFPS caseworkers, investigators and staff are equipped with technology and services to provide protective services to children and adults suffering from abuse, neglect and exploitation by providing an effective, productive and reliable IT infrastructure and operations services. Responsible for an extremely lean IT organization of thirty five staff and a complex matrix of outsourcing and vendor contracts to provide 24x7x365 services; such as, data network for 290+ locations with LAN, WAN and wireless connectivity, remote access via web portal, CISCO AnyConnect VPN and GoToMyPC farm, office telephony, call center ACD, call center agent teleworking via CISCO OEAP, 300+ infrastructure, file and print servers, web farm for internet and intranet, Active Directory and Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), SharePoint, Moodle Learning Management platform and other agency developed web applications, Identity and Access Management, fax services, video conferencing, email services via Exchange and Office 365, PC device selection, image development, electronic software distribution, smartphone device selection, imaging, deployment and management (which saved the agency $1.5m in the operational budget), tier two and three support. Security operations services; such as, IronPort, MobileIron, Dell DDPE encryption, RSA two-factor authentication and data loss prevention. Submitted multiple State of Texas Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR) Exceptional Items (EI), worked within the State of Texas fund accounting principles and budget. Implemented the agency's first Service Catalog and leveraged the DIR System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and Texas Project Delivery Framework. Served on the DIR Data Center Services (DCS) Technology Solution Group as part of DCS governance. Influenced multiple cross-agency solution and service development initiatives. Optimized the organizational capability through a IT Operations restructure.

Managed over 25 projects. Designed, deployed and implemented the first HHS Enterprise eDiscovery solution and service.
