Staff Superintendent, Human Resources And Corporate Risk Management Command

For nine months, Staff Superintendent Yeandle was In charge of the Corporate Risk Management Command and then Human Resources Command. The Human Resources Command is comprised of three functions: People and Culture (Labour Relations, Wellness, Talent Acquisition, People Strategy and Performance and Equity, Inclusion and Human Rights), Corporate Risk Management (Professional Standards, Legal Services and the Toronto Police College) and the Hearings Office which oversees the Tribunal to deal with matters of serious misconduct. With approximately 340 people and a budget of 56 million dollars, this Command is responsible for driving the progressive hiring, training, discipline and development of Service members. Prior to becoming the Staff Superintendent of Human Resources Command, she was the Staff Superintendent in charge of Corporate Risk Management, where she was responsible for Professional Standards, Professional Standards Support and the Toronto Police College. She then oversaw People and Culture as the Staff Superintendent. These two areas make up the Human Resources Command.Just as in her previous Staff Superintendent positions, Staff Superintendent Yeandle was entrusted to act as the Deputy Chief of Police for the Human Resources Command when needed.
