Every day, I aspire to improve humanity through the pursuit and appreciation of scientific discovery.I am a self-directed, action-oriented professional with over two decades of experience in diverse aspects of biomedical research and education. I am a keen problem solver, whether in the laboratory or assisting others by providing advice on their projects. My scientific knowledge base includes cell and molecular biology, protein chemistry, immunology and cancer biology, and the use of many different types of laboratory equipment. My success in explaining science subjects to students in high school through the university level, as well as to fellow researchers, operators, and my customers, illustrates my ability to communicate effectively. I also have several peer-reviewed publications in immunology and cancer research. I pride myself in being a consummate team player and collaborator in a variety of roles and disciplines, from basic research to product marketing. I am confident in my ability to improve the human condition through the support of scientific advancement and mentorship, and am excited to prove myself as an accomplished biopharmaceutical professional. As a proponent of STEM education and to keep my mind sharp, I also tutor students in the area in math and the sciences when the world isn't crippled by a pandemic. Whenever possible, I volunteer my time to give back to the community, often with my son contributing as well.
