About Kin Yip
In my current role as a project worker for Wood Street Mission Children's Charity, I'm responsible for setting up and organising the shop. This included providing a high level of customer service, essential quality items (like clothing, school uniforms, toys, books, stationery, toiletries, winter coats, bedding, and other basic essential items for children from babies to 16 years old), a safe and inviting environment and giving my members the flexibility to choose the products they take home. Actively campaigning to increase service user numbers, supporting all volunteers, receiving and sorting donations, stock control and stock distribution to our families are among my daily activities.With my experience in helping families/individuals overcome financial insecurity, preventing good reusable items from going to waste or into landfills, my passion for supporting the local community, I feel this can only have a positive impact on the service users.
