During my time at San Jac, I have also taught all levels of developmental reading and writing, ESOL, freshman composition, integrated reading and writing, and student success courses. I have worked extensively on course redesign in Texas by serving on the Developmental Education Demonstration Project Grant Committee, the Texas Education Initiative Reading and Writing Leadership Team, and the Texas Association of Community Colleges House Bill 5 Taskforce. I am an active proponent of student success initiatives, course redesign, and technology in the flipped classroom.
